About the role

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the cardiothoracic surgery team in an ambulatory setting, enhancing workflow, procedures, and patient care while supervising nursing staff and coordinating daily operations.

Key responsibilities

Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting.
Coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care.
Monitor daily operations of outpatient clinics and perform RN ambulatory duties as needed.
Collaborate with Care Coordinators for smooth transitions of care and participate in committees and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least two years of RN experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Clinical leadership and coordination abilities.
