About the role

The Assistant Nurse Manager will support the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Tradition Hospital, balancing hands‑on patient care with administrative leadership. You will help ensure high‑quality, compassionate care for patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate unit clinical operations, including patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Prepare work schedules, manage staff attendance, and handle on‑call duties.
Provide education, training, and performance evaluations for caregivers.
Participate in quality‑improvement projects, research initiatives, and interdisciplinary communication.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN.
Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
Minimum two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Proficiency with Kronos scheduling software.
Ability to perform hands‑on patient care in a cardiac cath lab setting.
