Assistant General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

As an Assistant General Manager you will support the Restaurant General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and driving team performance at a Taco Bell franchise location.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure products are made to standard and all Guest Metrics are followed.
• Maintain compliance with Food Safety Standards and oversee the physical plant.
• Assist with new product training rollouts and the hiring, training, and development of team members.
• Track and analyze sales, labor, inventory, and daily controls, taking corrective action to exceed targets.
• Provide feedback on new hire performance and ensure equipment, facility, and grounds maintenance through preventative programs.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; minimum age 18.
• Pass background check, hold a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 1 year of assistant management experience; food‑service experience is a plus.
• Basic math, computer literacy, and ability to work varied schedules including nights and weekends.
