Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring high guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards at The Envoy Hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support front office associates in line with HHM core values.
• Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental performance.
• Assist with financial controls, budgeting, forecasts and capital purchase approvals.
• Maintain front office supplies, gift‑shop inventory and coordinate with sales on group rooming lists.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability guidelines and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of hospitality experience, including front desk operations.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Knowledge of front office software and accounting controls.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
