About the role

The Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting supports the Controller in overseeing daily accounting operations. This full‑time position is based in Bal Harbour, Florida, and offers a competitive salary with bonus eligibility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the accounting team, fostering collaboration and performance.
• Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, P&L reports, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure proper budgeting, forecasting, and working‑capital management.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, tax regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Generate timely financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Support property permits, vendor contracts, and shared‑service accounting initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and leadership potential.
• Ability to work independently and influence cross‑functional teams.
