Assembler I – Entry Level Medical Device Assembly

About the role

The Assembler I position supports the production of medical device products in a cleanroom environment. Working under close supervision, you will follow manufacturing documents to assemble components and record build data.

Key responsibilities

• Follow detailed manufacturing instructions to assemble products or prototypes.
• Record data on build records and communicate material or process issues to leads and supervisors.
• Assist engineers and supervisors with special assembly requests and train other assemblers on certified procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while adhering to quality, compliance, and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0‑1 year of manufacturing experience (preferably in medical device assembly).
• Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Willingness to work overtime and follow cleanroom gowning and hygiene requirements.

Required skills

• Use of a microscope, vision system, or related automated equipment for small‑part assembly.
• Basic measuring techniques using scales, rulers, and both US and metric units.
• Ability to perform precision hand‑eye coordination tasks for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift up to 15 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally.
