Armed Airport Patrol Officer (Wed-Sun)

About the role

Allied Universal is hiring a Law Enforcement Officer for its Armed Airport Patrol in Lihue, Hawaii, covering Wednesday to Sunday shifts. The officer serves clients in sectors such as government, conducts routine vehicle and foot patrols, keeps a visible presence to deter security incidents and supports a welcoming environment for travelers and staff. The position is full time at $38 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and solve problems.
• Supervise contractor personnel and work with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on security disputes and complaints.
• Make sound, immediate decisions under stress and follow instructions while taking responsibility for your actions.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of U.S. law enforcement experience after graduation from a certified academy (federal, state or county).
• Experience in de-escalation, incident report writing, patrolling high-traffic areas and communication.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program; credentials provided on application.
• Valid driver's license, 22+ years old, fluent English, no felony convictions and no record of moral turpitude or domestic violence.
• Good physical health, able to stand and walk for a full shift, lift up to 25 lbs and pass a background check and a one-time physical exam within the last 6 months.
