Area Manager – Rural Super Rural (RSR) Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager for its Rural Super Rural (RSR) team. You will lead a group of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and on‑time customer deliveries across remote locations.

Key responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate a team of hourly employees.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including 10‑hour overnight shifts on a front‑half or back‑half roster.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 lb, standing, walking, climbing stairs and working in varied temperature environments.

Required profile

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue‑badge/FTE) experience.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical duties in noisy, temperature‑variable settings.
