Area Manager – Floor (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Returns)

About the role

The Area Manager – Floor leads a multi‑disciplinary team responsible for fashion, import, jewelry, and returns operations across a designated retail area. You will drive performance, ensure safety and quality standards, and foster a culture of inclusion and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate goals and business plans to associates, suppliers, and customers both verbally and in writing.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution to meet production, quality, and safety targets.
• Monitor productivity through regular review of business reports and take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain quality and safety compliance by training associates on logistics policies and procedures.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate associates and leaders, including hiring, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive workplace that encourages high performance and belonging.
• Uphold Walmart’s integrity, ethics, and sustainability commitments in daily operations.

Required profile
