Applied AI Product Engineer (Remote)

About the role

VetsEZ is seeking an Applied AI Product Engineer to join EZLabs, its AI innovation division, on a 100% remote basis. You will help build intelligent healthcare products for a large federal government modernization project, improving patient engagement, care coordination, and claims management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI‑powered features that enhance patient engagement, care coordination, claims management, and operational efficiency.
• Use Claude Code and related AI development tools to build, test, troubleshoot, and maintain full‑stack software products.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, user‑focused solutions.
• Develop APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and LLM integrations supporting intelligent product capabilities.
• Apply DevOps and MLOps practices for testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and performance optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 1–4 years of software or product engineering experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency using Claude Code to develop functional software products.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote Agile environment.
