Application Developer – Full Stack (AWS)

About the role

This position reports to the North America Supply Chain and Logistics service unit and joins the Center of Excellence Digital Transformation team. As a full‑stack Application Developer you will design, build, and maintain scalable solutions on Amazon Web Services that support plants, warehouses, logistics, and trade compliance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of agile software development, from design through deployment.
• Architect end‑to‑end systems optimized for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop using the client‑recommended software suite and AWS services.
• Collaborate with technical project managers, supply‑chain stakeholders, and support groups.
• Maintain thorough documentation in GitHub and other tools.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills to work with both technical and supply‑chain teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfort explaining technical concepts and educating coworkers.
• Flexibility to be onsite in Pittsburgh at least three days per week.

Required skills

• AWS CloudFormation or Terraform (infrastructure as code).
• JavaScript front‑end development (including AI‑assisted coding experience).
• Python programming.
• SQL database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions or GitLab Runner.
• Understanding of application networking (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, DMZs).
