About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an AMS Intra‑Operative Monitoring (IOM) Technician on a contractor basis. This role supports surgical teams by providing real‑time monitoring of patients during procedures, ensuring safety and compliance with clinical standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform intra‑operative monitoring for anesthesia services at UAMS.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain monitoring equipment during surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
- Document monitoring data and generate reports as required.
Required profile
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or hold an approved medical or religious exemption.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Ability to work on an as‑needed basis in a hospital environment.
