AM or PM Dishwasher

About the role

Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club, a public-access daily fee golf course with a full-service restaurant and banquet space, is hiring full-time and part-time dishwashers for its kitchen team. Shifts are available on weekdays and weekends: morning shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm, and afternoon/evening shifts with a flexible start between 1:00pm and 3:00pm until close.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware and cooking utensils by machine and manual cleaning.
• Load, run and unload the dish machine, keeping it clean and reporting any functional or mechanical problems to the Executive Chef.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, keeping adequate levels of clean items for the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean floor mats nightly and clean the work area, kitchen and equipment with broom, mop, sponge, cleaning solution or other tools.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpsters and perform general cleaning while following health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Current Food Handler card, or willingness to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment.
