Aircraft Technician – Full‑time Contract

About the role

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and structures on a 12‑month contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic to complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications under varying levels of supervision.
• Complete CMP cards, work order sign‑offs, and related paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Operate ground support equipment such as power carts, hydraulic units, forklifts, and compressed‑gas cylinders following SOPs.
• Manage aircraft movement, store customer property securely, and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Support aircraft certification and final‑phase testing, including possible flight tests.

Required profile

• High School diploma/GED.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate or 2–4 years of aviation maintenance experience, including work on mid/large aircraft.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Willingness to participate in DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program.

Required skills

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
• Aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures.
• Operation of ground support equipment (power carts, hydraulic rigs, forklifts, etc.).
• Use of Computerized Maintenance Program (CMP) and material tracking systems.
