AI Enablement Engineer

About the role

Replicant is building AI‑first customer service platforms and needs an AI Enablement Engineer to lead and optimise AI solutions across the company. As the first dedicated hire, you will design and implement the foundations that connect functions to AI systems, agent identity, and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement safe, fast pathways for AI assets, managing visibility, cost, and access.
• Create reusable patterns and templates so new teams can launch AI workflows without starting from scratch.
• Partner with People to raise AI literacy, run office hours, and develop internal champions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Engineering to build custom integrations and bridge technology gaps.
• Own MCP integrations, shared agents, identity management, and connections to commercial tools.
• Provide continuous cost visibility for Finance, consolidating tools and reducing expenses through prompt caching, model routing, and better agent design.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on experience as a Systems, Solutions, or IT Engineer at a SaaS or cloud‑native company.
• Proven track record deploying and optimising AI tools at scale, working consultatively to diagnose problems and scope work.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and defend sequencing to leadership.
• Collaborative mindset that builds reusable solutions rather than becoming a bottleneck.
