Agile Coach (Remote)

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for six experienced Enterprise Agile Coaches to guide large‑scale Agile product transformations for enterprise clients. This remote position is based in New York with occasional travel to the city.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Agile Centers of Excellence and technology leadership to design and execute transformation roadmaps.
• Mentor Scrum teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and technical leaders on Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS and other scaled frameworks.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, strategic workshops and training sessions to embed Agile principles.
• Educate teams on modern engineering practices such as DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Test‑Driven Development and pair programming.
• Analyze performance metrics, establish delivery indicators and drive continuous improvement.
• Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align) to optimize workflows and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in software development or technical delivery.
• At least 8 years of experience coaching large‑scale Agile transformations in enterprise environments.
• Professional Agile certifications (e.g., ICP‑ACC, ICP‑ATF, CSP, SPC) and strong systems‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.

Required skills

• Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS.
• Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Jira Align.
• Modern engineering practices: CI/CD, DevOps, DevSecOps, Test‑Driven Development, pair programming.
• Metrics and data‑driven coaching using velocity, predictability and health indicators.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $100 to $125 based on experience.
