Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA/CNS) – Family Medicine

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is expanding its North Olmsted Family Medicine team and seeks a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive ambulatory care for patients of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and order/interpret diagnostic tests to develop treatment plans.
• Perform routine and specialized procedures as credentialed, prescribe medications within scope, and educate patients about their conditions and therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in medical rounds, and ensure continuity of care through referrals and follow‑up.
• Support quality monitoring, discharge planning, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited APRN or Physician Assistant program; NP must hold a family certification.
• At least 1 year of advanced practice experience in primary or family care.
• Current state licensure as an RN/NP or PA, with national certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential weekends, holidays, call, and occasional floating to other locations.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification where applicable.
• Credentialing and privileging by the Medical Executive Committee and governing hospital bodies.
