Savannah Technical College seeks an Adjunct Nurse Aide/Patient Care Technician Instructor to deliver theory and practical instruction for nursing aide and patient care technician courses. The role involves classroom, laboratory, and clinical teaching to prepare students for healthcare employment.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct, manage, and supervise students in classrooms, labs, and clinical settings using appropriate teaching methods.
• Develop lesson plans, curricula, and assessments for occupational courses.
• Ensure compliance with regional and national accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and maintain professional communication with college stakeholders.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with an active Georgia nursing license in good standing.
• Minimum two years of recent nursing experience and one year of nursing experience overall.
• Flexibility to teach day, evening, or online classes.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heartsaver Instructor certification.
