About the role
Savannah Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Allied Health Instructor to teach core allied health courses. The role involves delivering theory and practical instruction to prepare students for further health science programs or direct employment.
Key responsibilities
- Instruct and supervise students in classrooms, laboratories, and clinical settings using appropriate teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, develop curriculum, and conduct assessments for allied health courses.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of field trends.
Required profile
- Associate's degree in a health‑care related field from an accredited institution.
- At least one year of recent health‑care experience (within the past three years).
- Current CPR certification and a valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to teach day, evening, or online classes.
Required skills
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
