Per Diem Professional Development Associate – Hawaii

About the role

The Per Diem Professional Development Associate joins Great Minds’ Implementation Services team to support districts and schools in adopting and implementing high‑quality curriculum. This part‑time, remote position works primarily with Hawaii‑based schools, providing on‑site and virtual professional development and coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expertise in Great Minds’ professional services catalog to deliver on‑site support, coaching, and PD.
• Participate in internal training cycles to deepen knowledge of new services, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Cultivate a supportive Great Minds culture emphasizing trust, collegiality, curiosity, and quality.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of teaching or coaching experience, with 1+ year delivering high‑quality professional development.
• Experience implementing Great Minds curricula, especially Wit & Wisdom or Eureka Math.
• Deep content knowledge in humanities, mathematics, or science.
• Strong organizational habits for goal setting, project management, and deadline execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with both digital and print education platforms.
• Ability to make solutions‑oriented decisions in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $38.50‑$42.25 based on geographic location.
