About the role

The Mental Health Clinical Nursing Instructor is a part‑time visiting professor who will teach and supervise nursing students in mental‑health clinical settings, fostering their professional growth and competence.

Key responsibilities

Plan and supervise clinical experiences, providing direct evaluation of nursing students delivering care.
Develop and post written clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge and skill levels.
Evaluate student performance, give documented feedback, and provide remediation as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of agency/clinical policies and coordinate with clinical staff.
Contribute to program development, assessment, and continuous improvement of the college.

Required profile

Master's Degree in Nursing.
At least 2 years of recent RN practice experience.
Professional nursing licensure in the state of practice.
Excellent communication skills with strong initiative and sound judgment.
