Acute Care RN – PRN Night Shift

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking energetic Registered Nurses for its Medical‑Surgical/Acute Care team on night shifts. This PRN position offers a $8/hr specialty differential and focuses on delivering high‑quality, compassionate care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in a medical‑surgical setting, including assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations.
• Communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions to providers and staff, and respond quickly to treatment responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and perform general nursing duties across departments.

Required profile

• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification; ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to pass N‑95 respiratory testing or use a PAPR annually.
• Flexibility, organization, and ability to function under stressful situations.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Knowledge of nursing care principles, safety, infection prevention, and rehabilitative nursing.
