Accounting & Purchasing Specialist

About the role

GigaKOM is seeking a proactive Accounting & Purchasing Specialist to support financial operations, purchasing, vendor coordination, order tracking, and accounting administration in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, client follow‑up, collections, and billing documentation.
• Support Accounts Payable by processing vendor invoices, matching them to purchase orders, and maintaining vendor records.
• Create, review, and process purchase orders for IT products and coordinate with vendors, distributors, and internal teams.
• Track open orders from creation through delivery, communicate status updates, and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and vendor accounts and assist with month‑end close activities.
• Prepare financial and purchasing reports, support internal controls, and help improve workflows using Excel and automation tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or purchasing roles.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and ability to work independently with regular Pacific Time overlap.
