Account Executive / Outside Sales Representative

About the role

The Outside Sales Representative will drive growth and revenue in the marine and power generation markets for a leading diesel engine and power generation company. The role focuses on regional sales of engineered systems, products, and services, building a robust pipeline and delivering tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and close business opportunities in marine and power generation sectors.
• Engage new and existing clients through consultative selling and early positioning.
• Maintain accurate opportunity records and evaluate inquiries.
• Deliver technical sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and address feedback.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in marine and/or power generation markets.
• Background in controls, automation, or related industries; Woodward product knowledge is a plus.
• Proven outside‑sales success with a track record of capturing opportunities.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50‑60%.
