Account Executive – Corporate Legal Accounts

About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive new‑business sales for our Corporate Legal Accounts in Dayton, Ohio. You will work closely with Account Managers and cross‑functional teams to identify prospects, demonstrate our legal‑tech solutions, and help customers realize value. The position is hybrid, requiring office presence on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business through high‑volume cold calling (50‑100 outbound calls per day) and follow‑up activities.
• Learn, understand, and present LexisNexis Legal & Professional products to prospective clients.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams to qualify opportunities and advance the sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and follow defined sales processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in lead generation or inside sales with a strong cold‑calling track record.
• Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail‑oriented, able to follow defined processes and manage time effectively.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
