Account Executive - Commercial Entertainment Insurance

About the role

Momentous Insurance, a Marsh McLennan Agency, is hiring a full-time Account Executive for its Commercial Entertainment Insurance team. The Account Executive acts as the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company (MIB) and designated accounts, managing client relationships and selling new lines of coverage while cross-selling within the existing book of business.

Key responsibilities

• Daily customer service: coverage issues, contract and exposure analysis, endorsements, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, proposal preparation and policy checking and binding
• Inform the producer on strategic account issues, claims and other potential problems
• Oversee renewals, account management and new business development, and ensure Standard Operating Guidelines are followed for all transactions
• Meet client expectations, communicate consistently and accurately, and respond to inquiries within 24 hours
• Help design insurance plans, assist clients with coverage changes and turn each contact into a marketing opportunity
• Hold face-to-face meetings to present summaries and reports, and educate clients on coverage, exclusions, exposures and stewardship programs
• Review client satisfaction at least quarterly and report findings to the producer

Required profile

• Experience in all areas of Commercial Entertainment insurance
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and to resolve service or claims issues
• Plus: current California Department of Insurance license, 3-7 years of experience, and a college degree (high school diploma required)

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to use a computer keyboard and sit for extended periods in an office environment

• Base salary of $64,700 to $120,400, depending on experience, skills, training, location, certifications and education, plus possible performance-based incentives
