Account Director, Promotional Medical Education

About the role

Real Chemistry is seeking an Account Director to lead its Promotional Medical Education practice. You will act as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical and biotech clients, shaping strategic peer‑to‑peer education programs and broader brand initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain senior client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
• Develop and execute strategic brand initiatives, including peer‑to‑peer education and channel strategies.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations, adjusting tactics based on market dynamics, ROI, and competitor activity.
• Lead business planning, forecasting, and execution of peer‑to‑peer programs.
• Define success metrics, capture learnings, and integrate them into future strategies.
• Mentor and manage account team members, setting performance goals and supporting professional development.
• Forecast resources, assign staff, and oversee budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading healthcare marketing or medical education accounts at a senior level.
• Strong client‑facing and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Excellent project management and budgeting capabilities.
• Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary account teams.
