Account Development Specialist – Sales Lead

About the role

The Account Development Specialist is the sales lead for an assigned portfolio of brands within a targeted account base in Miami. Reporting to the sales organization, the role focuses on increasing market share and velocity of the assigned commodity through brand activations, strategic planning, and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market‑share growth for the assigned portfolio, spending the majority of time in‑market.
• Serve as the expert consultant for beverage and marketing strategies, presenting new products and conducting monthly business reviews.
• Research trends, category data and portfolio performance to meet supplier goals.
• Plan and execute high‑end consumer activations and merchandising initiatives within key accounts.
• Gather real‑time market insights, organize field intel, and share findings with sales teams.
• Collaborate with on‑premise and retail sales teams to develop creative solutions that boost business.
• Develop and deliver training modules for sales staff, customers and suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with gatekeepers and stakeholders across assigned accounts.
• Participate in supplier calls, workshops and obtain advanced product certifications.

Required profile

• Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
• Full‑time availability with a willingness to spend up to 80% of working time in the market.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with key account stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset to translate market data into actionable growth plans.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
