Accommodations Partner

About the role

As an Accommodations Partner at Anthropic, you will own the end‑to‑end reasonable accommodation process, ensuring employees and candidates receive fair, compliant, and thoughtful support. You will serve as the subject‑matter expert on complex accommodation requests and work closely with People, Recruiting, Benefits, Employment Legal, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Interactive Process Management – U.S.: Serve as primary point of contact for reasonable accommodation requests from U.S.-based employees and candidates, leading the interactive process from initial request through resolution.
• Global Accommodation Request Management: Own accommodation requests from employees and candidates outside the United States, partnering with regional People Partners and Employment Legal.
• Complex Case Management: Handle high‑stakes or legally ambiguous accommodation requests, providing guidance to People Partners and managers.
• Cross‑Functional Partnership: Work with Benefits, external vendors, and other internal teams to ensure timely case review.
• Policy & Program Development: Build scalable processes and documentation for accommodation requests across regions.
• Education & Enablement: Develop and deliver training on accommodation best practices.
• Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate, confidential records of all accommodation cases.
• Data & Insights: Track metrics to inform policy and identify systemic issues.

Required profile

• Deep working knowledge of the ADA and applicable state disability accommodation laws, with experience applying them in interactive processes.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex, high‑stakes accommodation cases.
• Strong discretion and empathy when handling sensitive medical information.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with employees, managers, and HR.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to create structure.
