Founding Recruiter

About the role

As the Founding Recruiter at Lassie, you will shape the talent acquisition engine that powers a fast‑growing startup focused on automating doctors’ offices. You will partner directly with the founders and early hiring managers to attract and hire exceptional talent across engineering, go‑to‑market, and G&A functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch Lassie’s end‑to‑end recruiting strategy, processes, tools, metrics, and brand.
• Own full‑cycle recruiting for software engineering, GTM, and G&A roles, from sourcing to offer closure.
• Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and interview plans.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for multiple simultaneous searches.
• Create and refine recruiting analytics such as funnel health, conversion rates, and time‑to‑hire.
• Represent Lassie at events, meetups, and through outbound messaging to raise awareness among top talent.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Lassie’s values and ambition.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience with a proven track record of sourcing, assessing, and closing top talent.
• Deep expertise in talent mapping, network building, and maintaining long‑term relationships with candidates.
• Demonstrated ability to design or implement AI‑native workflows that streamline recruiting tasks.

Required skills

• Experience building AI‑enabled recruiting workflows or strong instinct for applying AI to eliminate manual recruiting work.
