About the role

The district is seeking a dedicated 5th‑grade teacher to join its elementary school team for the 2026‑2027 school year. Under general direction, the teacher will deliver high‑quality instruction, assess student progress, and foster a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the district‑approved curriculum aligned with Arizona State standards.
• Plan and implement engaging lessons, including individualized and small‑group instruction.
• Assess student learning, maintain records, and prepare progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with parents through newsletters, notes, phone calls, and conferences.
• Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, inclusive atmosphere.
• Coordinate teacher aides, volunteers, and field‑trip activities.
• Integrate technology into lesson plans and create attractive learning displays.

Required profile

• Valid Arizona Department of Education teaching certification for the position.
• Arizona Department of Public Safety Identified Verified Fingerprint Clearance Card.
