Workday Solutions Architect

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is seeking an experienced Workday Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of Workday HCM solutions. You will act as the strategic technical lead, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering high‑performance implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and design Workday HCM architecture for new implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
• Provide detailed effort estimates and advise on resource planning and timelines.
• Lead technical design sessions, validate configurations, and enforce best practices.
• Collaborate on integration strategies to connect Workday with payroll, benefits, and finance systems.
• Guide functional teams on configuration of Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Security modules.
• Produce architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and solution blueprints.

Required profile

• 8+ years of Workday experience, including solution architecture and technical leadership.
• Proven ability to accurately estimate effort and complexity for Workday projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Workday HCM (Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Security).
• Workday integration tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio) and APIs.
• Workday reporting (Advanced, Composite, Matrix) and calculated fields.
