Venue Sales Manager

About the role

Sanctuary MiMo, a new 14,000‑sq‑ft event venue in Miami’s Modernist Architecture Historic District, is seeking a dynamic Venue Sales Manager. You will be responsible for selling the versatile "white box" space for weddings, corporate galas, exclusive parties and more, driving top‑line financial performance and enhancing the brand image.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling, emailing, social selling and visiting hotels, CVBs, local associations and destination management companies.
• Generate, follow through and close inbound leads with professionalism.
• Upsell services and create in‑house and industry events to promote the venue.
• Complete contracts with customers and vendors, ensuring compliance.
• Conduct memorable site tours for prospective clients and industry colleagues.
• Participate in weekly meetings with ownership to provide updates on leads, bookings and feedback.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and special projects as needed.
• Manage software critical to sales and event bookings.

Required profile

• 5+ years of proven sales success, preferably in banquet, catering, hospitality or related fields.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a service‑obsessed attitude.
• Creative, optimistic and able to deliver legendary guest experiences.
• Strong presentation abilities and tech‑savviness.
• Effective stress and time management, organized and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, with occasional travel (up to 10%).
