Urgent Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a full‑time Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join the JeffExpress Urgent Care at Schuylkill Medical Plaza in Pottsville, PA. The practice operates 7 days a week, 8 am‑8 pm, providing on‑demand urgent care to a diverse community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, on‑demand care for minor injuries, illnesses, and on‑site procedures.
• Perform point‑of‑care testing and utilize Epic electronic medical records for documentation.
• Collaborate with a team of APCs, physicians, nurses, and support staff following network‑wide protocols.

Required profile

• Current Pennsylvania state license as a Nurse Practitioner (or ability to obtain one).
• National NP certification through AANP or ANCC.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or a similar specialty; two years of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Ability to perform point‑of‑care testing and on‑site procedures.
