Tier 2 Incident Responder – Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role
BlackCloak is looking for a Tier 2 Incident Responder to join its Security Operations Team. You will act as an independent contributor, helping high‑profile clients detect, assess, and remediate security events across their digital environments.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard clients remotely onto the BlackCloak platform and provide post‑onboarding support.
- Respond to client alerts, incidents, and inquiries, triaging cybersecurity alerts and delivering mitigation actions.
- Run network vulnerability assessment scans and communicate findings to clients.
- Participate in the Incident Response Program, on‑call rotation, and escalation processes.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge through training sessions.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of experience in an infosec or cybersecurity analyst role.
- College degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Industry‑recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, OSCP, Security+) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle occasional nights and weekends.

- Penetration and vulnerability testing.
- Windows and macOS forensic investigation.
- Vulnerability management.
- Technical knowledge of operating systems: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux.
- Network vulnerability assessment scanning.
