Application Developer

About the role

Spaghetti Bridge is seeking an experienced Application Developer to design, build, and maintain critical internal systems that support operational efficiency and long‑term digital innovation across its network of specialist schools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal software applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, scalable code and manage the full software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to devise technical solutions to business challenges.
• Support database development, reporting, and data analysis.
• Contribute to regular software releases within an agile environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• Strong experience with JavaScript and modern development practices.
• Proficiency in SQL/PSQL and database design or data modelling.
• Knowledge of application development using C#.NET, Delphi, Visual Basic, or low‑code platforms.
• Experience building commercial or enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and design solutions collaboratively.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
