About the role

Protiviti is hiring a Technology Consulting Consultant in Chicago. Consultants work with clients, typically among the world's leading companies, to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business problems. The role is part of the Foundations program, which gives consultants hands-on project experience, coaching and exposure to leaders across the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Work on a variety of projects, learning alongside experienced leaders and advisors
• Compile and analyze data, document findings and communicate insights to clients
• Build professional relationships with client and project team members
• Manage time and priorities, take ownership of assignments and contribute to team results
• Receive project-specific training and guidance from Talent Managers and a network of advisors

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, applied math, machine learning)
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, GenAI)
• Strong verbal and written communication and critical thinking skills
• Team player who works well independently, embraces challenges and seeks feedback

Required skills

• Knowledge of major business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, MicroStrategy, QlikView or SSRS
• Database competency with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle or similar
• Basic familiarity with domain management, network segmentation, firewalls and middleware
• Technical proficiency aligned to the assigned capability area
