SAP Functional Architect Senior Manager

About the role

Protiviti is hiring a Technology Consulting Senior Manager for its growing SAP team, based in Chicago with additional locations in Atlanta and Dallas. The role partners with clients to identify and manage risk, develops strategies to solve complex business problems, builds lasting client relationships and acts as a mentor and ambassador for the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain primary contact with significant clients, managing their expectations, project scope and operational matters
• Take the lead in solutioning engagement sales and developing product offerings for existing clients
• Partner with other firms and independent software vendors to leverage their solutions for client challenges
• Convert client business challenges into additional sales opportunities
• Design and develop delivery frameworks, thought leadership materials and solution artifacts
• Develop vertical-based demos and solutions, design presentations and lead client presentations and information-gathering sessions
• Provide guidance on SAP S/4HANA functionality in Finance and Supply Chain modules
• Work with the SAP alliance team to establish licensing standards and meet regularly with SAP
• Oversee project work plans, mentor teams, conduct performance appraisals and coordinate across teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as MIS or CIS
• 7+ years of experience in professional services or industry
• Demonstrated experience leading complex SAP projects with cross-functional Business, IT and Compliance teams
• Leadership and direct supervisory experience, including mentoring and coaching
• Interest in SAP S/4HANA and its latest enhancements

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA Public and Private cloud solutions and solution design
• Solutioning Assist and SAP architecture knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with secondary emphasis on Visio and Access
• Certification such as SAP S/4HANA Sell Authorization or LOB Solution Consultant strongly preferred

What we offer

• Salary range of $137,000-$219,000, with a 14% bonus target (total cash range $156,180-$249,660)
