Technical Advisor II – Knowledge Management

About the role

Provides advanced technical leadership for knowledge management, external visibility, and strategic engagement across large, complex, multi‑country global health projects. The role sets strategic direction, oversees systems that facilitate knowledge sharing, and leads the development of high‑quality technical products for diverse audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement knowledge‑management and external‑visibility strategies, work plans, and technical components for multi‑country projects.
• Oversee processes, tools, and approaches that promote cross‑country learning and collaboration.
• Lead planning and execution of webinars, learning events, technical exchanges, conference sessions, and other dissemination activities.
• Develop and quality‑review digital and visual knowledge products, including social media content, photography, data visualizations, graphic design, video, and multimedia materials.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and tools to strengthen knowledge‑management capacity of country‑office staff and partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or international equivalent in Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Public Health, International Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in global health, international development, knowledge management, or technical communications.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership for large, multi‑country projects and delivering high‑quality technical products.
• Strong leadership, project‑management, analytical, and relationship‑management skills.
