About the role

Join PwC’s Tax practice in Sacramento as a Tax JD Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work in a dynamic learning environment, supporting tax teams and gaining exposure to global tax strategies, compliance, and integration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
• Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
• Participate in corporate tax planning and compliance activities.
• Engage in tax modeling and consulting to address client‑specific challenges.
• Contribute to post‑deal integration and tax‑finance integration projects.
• Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements to facilitate transactions.
• Conduct research on tax regulations and industry‑specific tax issues.
• Apply intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax solutions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Juris Doctorate degree.
• Commitment to meet educational requirements and pass the Bar exam before full‑time start.
• Typically in the second year of a three‑year JD program at the time of application.
• Preference for an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.
