Talent Manager - Finance & Accounting

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Talent Manager for its Finance & Accounting practice in Saddle Brook, NJ. Talent Managers work in a team and negotiate and develop business with new and current clients, reaching hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments by telephone, video and in-person meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and match highly skilled accounting and finance professionals to clients' projects, contract assignments and contract-to-full-time opportunities.
• Manage ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to clients and candidates.
• Provide ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates.
• Take part in local trade association and networking events to strengthen Robert Half's presence in the local business community.

Required profile

• Accounting, Finance or Business Administration degree preferred.
• 1+ years of finance, accounting or banking experience preferred.
• 2+ years of business development in a metrics-driven environment, with at least one success developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision-maker setting.
• Proven success marketing to and closing top-level decision-makers at small and medium-sized businesses and building long-term relationships.
• Positive attitude and an engaging, businesslike approach.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with contact management applications such as Salesforce.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance department operations.

What we offer

• Typical salary range of $48,000 to $68,000, negotiable on experience and location, with a performance-based bonus.
