Systems Architect / Digital Engineering Architect

About the role

CIYIS is looking for an experienced Systems Architect / Digital Engineering Architect to lead enterprise Digital Engineering, MBSE, and Digital Thread initiatives. The role involves designing and governing future‑state engineering ecosystems that integrate requirements, models, data, testing, manufacturing, and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop enterprise and solution architectures, including Digital Thread and interoperability strategies.
• Support MBSE and Digital Engineering initiatives and create modernization roadmaps.
• Define standards‑based integration frameworks, API strategies, and architecture governance.
• Evaluate engineering tools, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and produce technical architecture deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of systems architecture experience.
• Experience supporting Digital Engineering, enterprise architecture, and systems engineering.
• Knowledge of Digital Thread and lifecycle traceability concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• TOGAF, CSEP, OCSMP, SAFe Agilist, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect certifications.
• Cameo / MagicDraw, Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS, Windchill, Codebeamer, Teamcenter, SAP.
• Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, AWS, Azure.
