System/Business Analyst – PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, Procurement

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for a detail‑oriented System / Business Analyst to support procurement, financial operations, contract management and vendor engagement within its IT Cyber Security Division. The role will involve managing requisitions, monitoring software licenses, tracking expenditures and providing analytical insights in a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and process requisitions in PeopleSoft Procurement, ensuring documentation, justification and budget availability.
• Monitor software licensing, maintenance and service agreements to guarantee timely renewals.
• Coordinate with IT leadership, project teams, procurement staff and vendors to resolve purchasing and contract issues.
• Maintain contract records, support compliance and assist vendor engagement through ServiceNow Asset and Contract Management.
• Track planned vs. actual expenditures, support budgeting, forecasting and financial reconciliation.
• Generate recurring and ad‑hoc reports on procurement activity, contract spending and departmental budgets.
• Manage consultant and professional services engagements using the Beeline Vendor Management System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3+ years experience in procurement, financial analysis, budgeting, contract administration or business operations.
• Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills with ability to handle high‑volume workloads independently.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas)
• SQL and/or Python for data extraction and analysis
• Power BI, Tableau, Looker for dashboard and reporting development
• Understanding of IT hardware/software licensing, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS subscription management
