Supply Technician – Hospital Logistics

About the role
The Supply Technician supports the efficient flow of medical products, linen, mail and other supplies across the hospital network. You will work in a fast‑paced environment ensuring that all supply locations are stocked, organized and ready for patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Determine supply quantities for each bin, use a handheld scanner to record picks, and verify items by product number, manufacturer, and location.
- Pick, de‑case, and deliver supplies to the correct locations, checking expiration dates and proper placement.
- Receive and process FedEx/UPS packages in both physical form and the ERP system, and investigate missing or delayed shipments.
- Replenish carts and intubation trays, assemble them, and manage clean and soiled linen cycles.
- Perform mail runs on schedule and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Operate material‑handling equipment such as pallet trucks and jacks to move supplies safely.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED; basic computer/PC navigation skills.
- Physical ability to lift over 50 lb, push/pull up to 140 lb, and stand, squat, kneel, or climb frequently.
Required skills
- Handheld scanner operation.
- Use of material‑handling equipment (pallet truck, jack).
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Basic computer navigation.
