Supply Chain Planner II – Autonomous Surface Vessels

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Supply Chain Planner II to manage and optimize material flow for autonomous surface vessels. You will translate engineering demand into actionable supply plans, ensuring readiness while balancing cost, risk, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve end‑to‑end tactical supply plans for NPI, production, and off‑nominal builds.
• Translate engineering demand, build schedules, and program milestones into material requirements within ERP/MRP systems.
• Optimize factory planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, and reorder strategies.
• Drive BOM maturity, manage ECO impacts, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Identify and mitigate material readiness risks through risk registers and recovery plans.
• Maintain master data governance for BOMs, routings, and planning attributes.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement to align supply execution with program priorities.
• Establish and monitor metrics like shortage tracking, kit completeness, and inventory health.
• Lead shortage resolution, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop repeatable supply planning processes and improve factory throughput.
• Ensure compliance with DoD program requirements, audit readiness, and traceability standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience managing Bills of Materials (BOM) and master data.
• Strong risk‑management and inventory‑control capabilities.
