Operations Manager – Logistics & Warehouse

About the role

The Operations Manager oversees end‑to‑end warehousing and distribution activities, acting as the primary liaison between Maersk, customers, sales, system operations and vendors. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operations while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily shipments, prepare paperwork, communicate freight status and dispatch drivers.
• Supervise and coach direct reports, conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions.
• Review operational KPIs and benchmark data monthly to drive corrective actions.
• Analyze processes, procedures and staffing to improve operating efficiency.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including forklift handling, load/off‑load activities and truck routing.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business is a plus).
• Minimum five years of experience in operations management within transportation and logistics, including DOT and TSA regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems for logistics operations.
