Summer Internship 2027 Business Development, Regional Services

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Summer Intern for Business Development within its Regional Services team in Herndon, VA. You will work on high‑ambiguity projects, shaping strategy, market analysis, and operational design to drive new initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define "Phase Zero" problems and create strategic roadmaps for new services or internal systems.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and explore external trends to build go‑to‑market hypotheses.
• Act as an internal consultant to redesign workflows, resolve friction points, and develop processes supporting growth.
• Design value propositions, pricing models, and prototypes to validate commercial viability.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Engineering Management, or Business Administration.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Comfortable working on ambiguous problems and asking the right questions.
• Ability to work onsite in Herndon, VA for the full internship.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
