Summer Inclusion Strategy & Business Integration Intern

About the role

Michelin is looking for a Summer Inclusion Strategy & Business Integration Intern within its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team, based at its Greenville headquarters in South Carolina. The intern integrates inclusion into everyday business operations, leadership practices, talent processes and team experiences, and helps turn examples of inclusive practice into practical tools for leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, HR teams and employees to identify, document and analyze examples of inclusion in action across the organization.
• Translate those insights into practical tools and resources that help leaders see how inclusion improves decision-making, collaboration, innovation, engagement and effectiveness.
• Research and document examples where leaders and teams are building collaborative teams, increasing employee participation, improving communication, supporting employee development, strengthening onboarding, and expanding access to growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Major in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Management, Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or Communications.
• Ability to work with cross-functional partners within the HR team and business partners.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university.
• US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work indefinitely; the position is not available for immigration sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn other software systems.
