Strategic QE Consultant – Chicago

About the role

The Strategic QE Consultant will join Infosys’ Manufacturing unit in Chicago, driving digital transformation for clients in automotive, aerospace, defense and industrial manufacturing. The role focuses on advanced process analysis, data‑driven insights and the design of scalable automation architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end process analysis using techniques such as process mining, workflow simulation and efficiency modelling to uncover strategic improvement opportunities.
• Develop complex data models that translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
• Evaluate and align IT solutions with process‑enhancement goals, ensuring they streamline operations and support long‑term objectives.
• Create clear technical documentation and presentations for both process practitioners and business stakeholders.
• Research emerging process tools, assess vendor roadmaps and recommend innovative solutions that boost efficiency.
• Design architectural blueprints for process enhancements and automation, addressing current and future business needs.
• Define proactive maintenance strategies to maintain system health, scalability and sustained performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality engineering and testing strategy within complex, technology‑driven environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of delivering data‑driven process improvements.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences and influence decision‑making.
• Interest in emerging AI/ML solution architecture and its application to manufacturing processes.
