About the role
The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is hiring a Staff Development Nurse to work at the Alton Mental Health Center. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager/Public Service Administrator, the RN will oversee training programs across the continuum of care.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor, review and report on all staff trainings.
- Maintain oversight and implementation of the training curriculum.
- Educate staff on program requirements and best practices.
- Direct classroom orientation for professional, paraprofessional and support staff.
Required profile
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with appropriate state credentials.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Union position subject to collective bargaining agreement.
